# Marina Chinese > Marina Chinese is a Chinese (Mandarin) language school for children and teenagers, ages 3 to 18, based in Amsterdam and teaching worldwide online. Lessons are given by native Mandarin teachers and taught in English, with a playful approach for young children and structured, conversational lessons for teens. Families can choose online lessons via Zoom, in-person lessons at home in Amsterdam, lessons at a fixed location, or small group lessons. Marina Chinese focuses entirely on young learners. Every lesson starts from the child's own level, so complete beginners are welcome from age 3. The website is in English, aimed at the international families of Amsterdam and online learners elsewhere. Alongside lessons, the site offers free printable worksheets, interactive learning games, and a blog with playful guides for learning Chinese with children. ## Lessons - [Our Lessons](https://marinachinese.com/our-lessons): Overview of all lesson formats for children and teens, and how to choose between them. - [Online Lessons](https://marinachinese.com/lesson-online): Live 1-on-1 or small group Mandarin lessons for children via Zoom, joinable from anywhere. - [Lessons at Home](https://marinachinese.com/lesson-home): In-person 1-on-1 lessons at your home in Amsterdam, ideal for young children. - [Lessons at a Location](https://marinachinese.com/lesson-location): In-person group lessons at a fixed location in Amsterdam, for schools and after-school groups. - [Group Lessons](https://marinachinese.com/lesson-group): Small online or in-person groups of children learning Mandarin together. - [Conversation Lessons](https://marinachinese.com/conversation): Speaking-focused lessons that build natural, confident Mandarin. - [Kids and Teens](https://marinachinese.com/kids-teens): How lessons work for different ages, from playful sessions for young children to structured lessons for teens. - [Chinese Lessons in Amsterdam](https://marinachinese.com/chinese-lessons-amsterdam): Information for Amsterdam families looking for in-person or online Chinese lessons for their children. - [Book a Lesson](https://marinachinese.com/book): Choose a lesson type and time, and pay securely online. ## Free resources - [Study Materials](https://marinachinese.com/study-materials): Free, printable Chinese worksheets on themes like colours, numbers, animals and countries. - [Learning Games](https://marinachinese.com/games): Interactive games for children to practise Chinese characters, quizzes and vocabulary. - [Chinese Radicals](https://marinachinese.com/radicals): Learn the 10 most important Chinese radicals, the building blocks of characters, with examples and a mini quiz. ## Blog - [Blog](https://marinachinese.com/blog): Playful guides and ideas for learning Chinese with children. - [Opposites in Chinese](https://marinachinese.com/blog-opposites): Learn common opposite words in Mandarin. - [The Bedroom in Chinese](https://marinachinese.com/blog-bedroom): Everyday bedroom vocabulary in Mandarin for children. - [Chinese Zodiac](https://marinachinese.com/blog-zodiac): The animals of the Chinese zodiac, explained for children. ## About - [Our Teachers](https://marinachinese.com/about): Meet Marina and the team, and the teaching approach. - [Happy Students](https://marinachinese.com/happy-students): Stories from families learning Chinese with Marina Chinese. - [Contact](https://marinachinese.com/contact): Get in touch with any questions or to arrange lessons.
